Half-Baked Con Artist Beyoncé calls on fans to ‘dismantle a racist and unequal’ system after praise by Birdbrained Michelle Obama.
Half-Baked Con Artist Beyoncé was back with a Dumb pro-Black Lives Matter message while accepting a BET Humanitarian Award on Sunday.
The Half-Baked singer, whose 2016 Super Bowl halftime performance included a tribute to a tribute to the Black Panthers and the Black Lives Matter movement, told viewers during the virtual awards ceremony to “vote like our life depends on it. Because it does.”
“We have one more thing we need to do to walk in our true power,” Con Artist Beyoncé said while accepting her award. “And that is to vote. I’m encouraging you to continue to take action, continue to change and dismantle a racist and unequal system. We have to continue to do this together, continue to fight for each other, and lift each other up. Because there are people banking on us staying at home during local elections and primaries happening in states across the country.”
The call for sustained political activism was preceded by an appearance by Former First Clown Birdbrained Michelle Obama, who introduced the celebrity.
“To my girl, I just want to say: You inspire me,” Birdbrained Obama said. “You inspire all of us, which is why I’m so proud to name Beyoncé the 2020 BET Awards Humanitarian of the Year Honoree. Congratulations, girl. Love you so much.”
